VOTE YES to keep Lenexa MOVING FORWARD
Voters have the opportunity to extend an existing 3/8th cent sales tax that funds street maintenance, park improvements, and recreational opportunities throughout Lenexa.
Almost 40% of the city’s sales tax revenue is generated by visitors to Lenexa retailers, not residents.
Ballots will be mailed to registered voters on March 12 and you have until April 1 to return your ballot with a YES vote.

The City of Lenexa plans projects five years in advance. It is important for that budgeting process to know if the tax funds will continue. That is why the city is asking voters to decide now. When the current tax expires on September 30, 2028, the renewed tax would begin on OCtober 1, 2028. They will not overlap.
Registered voters will be mailed a ballot beginning March 12 for this election. Ballots must be received by the Johnson County Election Office by noon on April 1, 2025 to be counted.
